Incidence of Urosepsis in Patients Undergoing Flexible Ureteroscopy

Introduction: Urosepsis is a systemic response to and potentially life-threatening sequela of urogenital tract infection. Objectives: The main objective the study find incidence urosepsis in patients undergoing flexible ureteroscopy. Material methods: This cross sectional was conducted Fatima Jinnah Medical University during June 2021 January 2022. 241 full filling inclusion criteria included through Emergency / OPD hospital. An informed consent obtained from patients. Demographic data (Name, age, gender, stone size) recorded. Results: collected Out there were 118 males 123 female There significant difference age between who developed sepsis did not develop sepsis. Patients also had albumin concentrations <35 g/L, globulin ≥30 AGR <1.2, pre-operative fever, WBC count ≥10,000 cells/µL, positive UC, urine WBC, nitrite. Conclusion: It concluded that with solitary proximal ureteral stones are more likely have post-fURS when they UC or low AGR.
